Amelia has a special way of seeing things. She is drawn to edgy, urban, fashion forward designs but also has a taste for whimsical, elegant, simple, clean looks.
Her art is influenced by her upbringing. Amelia has two brothers with disabilities and her family life has been infused with empathy, compassion and exposure to the grit and social tensions that exist when you are someone who is different. This has resulted in a quiet confidence to explore techniques that are unique and out of the box.

She knows that stepping into new approaches can feel uncomfortable, but taking that risk is often met with reward.

“I have grown up designing and thinking visually. Surrounded by creativity, my Great-Grandfather, Grandmother and my Mother are all visual artists. My childhood was a playground of artistic mediums to explore. From sculpture to painting, drawing, mixed media, spray paint, claymation, beading, collaging to digital art, expressing thoughts and feelings visually and creatively has been a constant. Seeing everything around me as inspiration, I use traditional and nontraditional materials including neon, cardboard, sea glass and sea trash to create my works.
